Alena Skalova

Alena is a theatre maker, storyteller and puppeteer. She combines object theatre, shadow theatre, acting and live animation in her work, and is passionate about neglected stories and forgotten books. Her work often uses principles of immersive and participatory theatre - invites audiences to become part of the creative process.

Alena is also a keen community theatre facilitator and has worked with young people of different backgrounds and abilities, with people aged 55+, and with local communities across England and Central Europe.
